Characteristics
Slight yellow, odorless granule. It will lose all of the crystal water and become white ferrous sulfate anhydrous when it is heated to 300℃. The raw material ferrous sulfate heptahydrate is pre-treated and re-dissolved to remove impurities, so it has low content of Fe3+. We remove 6 of the 7 molecules of interior moisture, via hot air dryers, to produce free-flowing and uncake ferrous sulfate monohydrate and then, the material is compacted and screened for granule.
Applications
Ferrous sulfate monohydrate is used as a feed supplement to prevent anemia caused by iron deficiencies in the diets of swine, poultry and other animals. The Agricultural, Lawn and Garden, and Turf Management industries use ferrous Sulfate monohydrate to correct iron chlorosis or deficiencies in plants and soils, to eliminate moss, to reduce alkalinity, and as a trace element or micronutrient in fertilizers. |
