Characteristic:
Polymer ferrous sulfate (PFS) is a basic ferrous sulfate, molecular formula:[Fe2(OH) n (SO4)3-N/2]m, of which n>2; m=f(n). There are a lot of complex ferrous ion ([Fe2 (OH) 3]3+, [Fe(H2O)6]3+, [Fe3(OH)3 ]6+)in its solution. So it is a very efficient flocculant which can easily form flocculating colloid. Its chemical structure is space network polymer  which has multinuclear hydroxy complex ion. It can hydrolyses quickly in water and produces highly efficient multinuclear hydroxy complex negative ion during hydrolysis. In the proccess of water treatment, it has very strong ability to neutralize surface eclectric charge of suspending substances and can link suspending particles in between. Solid product is in an unhardened form.
Application:
It is used as flocculant agent for water purification in water supply stations and also as waste water treatment agent in the industries like paper making, printing, dyeing, slaughtering, automobile and beer manufacturing, industrial circulating water system like blast-furnace gas washing and replenishing water of high-pressure boiler in heat-power plant, city waste water treatment, concentration and dehydration of biochemical sludge in biochemical treatment stations of industrial waste water. It is also used as demulsifier for treating waste emulsified solution, opacified solution and waste oiled water.
Packing:
Liquid: packed in polyethylene plastic drums of 25 Kgs net each or plastic tanks of 1m3 or fibreglass tank.
Solid: packed in plastic-lined plastic woven bags of 50 Kgs net each.
